The lowdown on our mini valets

A car that was fully valeted three weeks ago doesn’t need a crazy clean today. It needs to be kept on top of. That’s the whole point of a mini valet.
It’s the gap between proper cleans where most cars quietly slide backwards, with, say, two or three weeks of commuting, school runs, and weekend trips putting a layer of grime on a car that was spotless not long ago.
Our mini valet handles that gap. It runs from £40 for a small car to £60 for a large SUV or van, and it’s the cheapest way to keep a vehicle looking its best between full valets.
Who it’s for
The mini valet suits anyone who had a full or superior valet within the last two to three weeks. The paint is still protected. The interior was deep-cleaned recently. Nothing has had time to bond.
Your car that saw a good cleaning session a fortnight ago carries loose surface dirt rather than embedded contamination. It really doesn’t need the iron fallout removers, tar work, or wet extraction a heavily soiled car does.
Leave it longer than that and the maths changes. Once tar and brake fallout start bonding to the paint, a mini valet won’t reach them, and a full valet becomes the better choice.
Interior work
Rubbish comes out first. The whole interior then gets vacuumed, mats and boot included, pulling out the grit and crumbs that build up over a couple of weeks.
Dashboard and interior trim are cleaned next. Your glass gets an ammonia-free treatment, which clears the film that settles on the inside of the screen without touching the seals or any tint.
Exterior work
A pre-wash goes on first. Then, snow foam, then a contact wash using the two-bucket method.
Door shuts get cleaned, which most quick washes skip. Wheels are cleaned down, and the exterior glass gets the same ammonia-free treatment used inside.
The result is a car that looks fresh and smells fantastic, brought back to the condition it was in straight after its last full valet.
A note on travel
Mini valets are our lowest-priced service, so travel charges may apply on jobs outside Bridlington. For anything under £80, we charge £1.50 per mile one way, and we’ll send a separate payment link if it’s needed.
The simplest way around it is regular booking. A mini valet every two to three weeks keeps the vehicle in the timing window, where it stays the cheapest service to run.
