Mobile valeting in Bridlington: What A1 Valets does differently

Ceramic foam finish-min

The most frustrating thing about living near the Bridlington coast is salt and seagulls making a mockery of your paintwork. You clean it, they mess it. Rinse and repeat.

There’s only so much time in the day, and you don’t always have the time, or the patience (or the products) to keep up with the grind. That’s why so many vehicle owners use our mobile valeting services in Bridlington. We just take care of it.

We operate from Lancaster Road on the Carnaby Industrial Estate and travel up to 20 miles to reach you. Driffield, Scarborough, and everywhere in between fall within range. You can bring your vehicle to us or have us come to your home or workplace.

Three tiers based on when you last cleaned

We structure our services around one question: how long has it been? A vehicle valeted two weeks ago and one left for six months cannot be treated the same way, so we don’t pretend they can.

The mini valet (from £40 to £60) is for vehicles that have had a full clean within the last two to three weeks. At this stage, contamination hasn’t bonded to surfaces yet, so snow foam lifts dirt without contact that could cause swirl marks. We use ammonia-free glass treatment because ammonia degrades rubber seals and tinted film over time.

Once three to four weeks have passed, tar and iron fallout from brake pads start to bond with paintwork. The full valet (£80 to £120) uses a fallout remover that reacts with iron particles, turning them purple as they dissolve, followed by tar removal and spray polish to leave a layer of protection behind.

The superior valet (£110 to £150) uses wet extraction shampooing to pull dirt out of seat fabric rather than pushing it deeper. We degrease the engine bay. A ceramic foam coating goes on last, causing water to bead and shed for weeks afterwards.

Build your own

If you only need one part of the process, we offer add-ons. Clay bar treatment (£35) removes bonded contamination that washing alone won’t shift. Ceramic hydrophobic coating (£30) repels water and makes future washes faster.

Dog hair removal (£20) uses tools designed for embedded hair that a vacuum will miss. Air conditioning sanitisation (£15) kills bacteria inside the system that cause the smell you notice when you first turn it on.
