Full valets in and around Bridlington

A month, it’s roughly the point where your car stops looking presentable in most places. The wash you gave it four weeks ago has faded. Brake dust is starting to bond. Tar spots are settling in.

Left much longer, and the vehicle slides into superior valet territory, where the process gets more involved, and the price goes up. Caught at the right moment, a full valet resets the whole thing.

Our full valet runs from £80 for a small car to £120 for a large SUV or van. Popular with private owners, fleets, and van drivers who want the vehicle back to showroom condition without the extra depth of a superior valet.

Who it’s for

The full valet suits vehicles cleaned regularly every three to four weeks. Contamination is present but hasn’t set in yet, so most of it comes off with the right chemicals rather than needing wet extraction of the entire interior.

Fleet owners tend to book on a rolling schedule. Same day each month, whole yard done in sequence, vehicles going back out looking presentable to customers rather than dragging the brand down.

Private owners often land on a full valet after realising a mini valet won’t quite reach what’s built up. Tar on the lower panels, brake fallout on the alloys, a dashboard starting to look tired.

Interior work

Rubbish comes out first. The whole interior gets vacuumed, mats and boot included, before anything wet touches the fabric.

Seats and other fabric areas then get shampooed with wet extraction. Cleaning solution goes into the fibres under pressure, agitates, and gets drawn back out along with the dissolved grime before it can settle deeper.

Dashboard and interior trim are cleaned, then enhanced and protected. Glass gets an ammonia-free treatment, inside and out.

Exterior work

A pre-wash goes on first. Then, snow foam, then a contact wash using the two-bucket method.

Tar removal comes next. Solvent-based, applied panel by panel, lifting the black specks that gather on lower doors and rear quarters over the course of a month’s driving.

Door shuts get cleaned, which most quick washes skip. Wheels are cleaned and the fallout removed, with the fallout remover bleeding purple as it reacts with embedded brake dust.

Finishing touches

The whole vehicle gets a pure water rinse for a streak-free finish. Tyres are dressed and plastic trim enhanced and protected.

Spray polish goes on last. It enhances the paintwork, deepens the colour, and leaves a layer of protection behind that carries the car through to its next full valet three or four weeks down the line.

How long it takes

Timings vary with size. A medium car or small van takes around three hours and fifteen minutes.

A compact SUV or medium van comes in at three and a half. Large SUVs and long-wheelbase vans run to four hours.
